The price of a commission is unique to each painting, so please email me for a quote.
Oil paintings can be of several sizes from roughly A4, up to almost A3, in size. The canvas can either be box canvas (traditional), or canvas paper.
The main advantage of canvas paper (shown above) is that it is lighter to post and is far easier to frame than a box canvas. A box canvas (shown below) has a depth of approximately 0.5in, canvas paper is 1mm, this means canvas paper can go in a glass frame, like you would with a watercolour.
If done on canvas paper, you can request a mount for your commission. This is a card surround for your painting which gives your painting a more professional look when framed:
Portraits, cartoons, illustrations, and landscapes are all possible. If you have any questions or queries, feel free to send me an email, and I’ll get back to you, probably the same day, as I check my emails quite often.
